Longtime friends.
First-time brewery owners.
No regrets (yet).
How It Started
We started Bangarang because we were tired of the same night out. And we figured you might be, too.
We’ve been best friends since high school, roommates at UGA (go dawgs), and lifelong believers that the best memories come from places that don’t take themselves too seriously. After college, Adam became a high school teacher, and Josh dove headfirst into startups—building brands, launching products, and occasionally answering emails with “per my last message.”
Then one day, we convinced our group of friends to split the cost of a homebrew kit. Everyone brewed once. Adam never stopped.

The first beers? Let’s just say we kept expectations low. But Adam got hooked. He joined a homebrew club, started volunteering at breweries, and somewhere along the way, started racking up Best of Show wins. Meanwhile, Josh kept doing grown-up things like adding pivot tables to spreadsheets, building strategy, and whispering “synergy” into empty beer cans.
Once the beer caught up to the business plan, we knew it was time.
(Josh said “finally.” Adam said “should I tell my students, or just vanish?”)

Bangarang Brews is the result of late nights, test batches, road trips, spreadsheets, and stubborn belief.
To us, being Bangarang means snapping out of autopilot. It’s when ordinary turns epic. When a dumb idea becomes a tradition. When you look around and think, “How did we end up here… and why is it perfect?” It’s joy with a little chaos. Nostalgia with an edge. A vibe that hits like the perfect cannonball at the neighborhood pool.
So come hang. Bring a friend. Bring two. Bring your dad if he’s cool.
And whatever you do . . .
Be Bangarang.
